BALLET: (Ages 3 - Adult) This is the basic foundation to all other forms of dance. It is a technically structured class taught through barre work, across the floor and center combinations. Ballet training is very important to every dancers development.

PRE-BALLET & KINDER TAP: (Ages 3 – 5) This program is the reading, writing and arithmetic of the studio. These beginning classes work together to offer a physical and mental development, a primary technique, and an awareness of rhythm, while learning the basic positions of ballet and the beginning sounds of tap.

|
BALLET & TAP COMBINATION: (Ages 6 – 8) This is an hour long class consisting of Ballet and Tap. It is designed to bring the student past the basics of Tap and Ballet and prepare them for a more serious dance education. Ballet training is the basis of dance training, without this one would never succeed in the dance world. Tap and ballet develop alert and quick thinking minds and develop coordination of mind and body. We stress correct placement and posture for both subjects.

POINTE: (Ages 10 & up) - Previous three year ballet experience required Class for the serious minded ballet student and wants to take ballet class to the next level. Pointe is described as a ballet position in which the body is balanced on the extreme tip of the toe.

|
TAP: (Ages 9 & up) Tap is rhythmical sounds made by the feet, separated and clear, rhythm exact and timed on top of the beat.

|
JAZZ: (Ages 5 & up) Jazz dance concentrates on style, technique, formations and the use of props, combined with the characteristic movements of whatever new style of music is in. Jazz dance training helps to develop or improve timing, speed, strength, agility and coordination.

|
HIP HOP: (Ages 4 & up) Class is centered around hip-hop dynamics, yet concentrated on today’s video/pop style. The focus of class comes from the combination of power, energy, style, face and technique.

|
ZUMBA: (Ages 18 - ) The revolutionary, dance inspired, total body, fat burning workout.

|
|
GYMNASTICS: (Ages 5 & up) This is the art, performance, or activity of one that performs gymnastics feats requiring skillful control of the body involving great agility or complexity. Acrobatic classes are designed to teach strength, flexibility and control with the artistic use of movements and tricks. We offer a strong emphasis on proper placement and technique, moving slowly through the body positions so the student has a strong sense of body awareness while being safe.

LYRICAL: (Ages 10 & up) Lyrical dance is the fusion of ballet and jazz technique, using expression from the inner emotion. Lyrical dance interprets music or words, showing the audience the emotion of the particular piece. The lines are traditional in nature with a technique base that determines the correct placement of the body angles.

BROADWAY BABIES: (Ages 3 & 6)
A unique combination of dance, singing, role playing and musical theater. The styles of dance taught include ballet, jazz, tumbling and musical theater. In the dance portion of the class, students participate in a wide variety of activities to develop coordination, balance, flexibility, proper body alignment and technique. Some of these activities include stretching, balance beam, center exercises and across the floor technique.Throughout the year, students learn dance routines in each different style of dance. In the musical theater portion of the class, students learn music and theater fundamentals, and participate in various activities, such as role play, improvisation and character development. Students get the opportunity during class to dance, sing and act so they really feel like superstars in the spotlight! We also include stage & classroom etiquette, fun activities and creative theater games to motivate and educate the students in exciting ways.
